Felipe Brêtas is a director, producer and screenwriter.
Felipe is a doctor in political science from the University of Malaga in Spain and a postgraduate in Entertainment Management from FGV.
Felipe Brêtas directed and produced the feature; "The Last Virgin"; co-produced by Telecine, Paramount Pictures and RioFilme and distributed by Downtown Filmes and Paris Filmes, the film was among the top 20 box office in national cinema in its launch year and is currently available on the Globoplay platform.
For streaming platforms Brêtas created, produced and directed the series, “Rio #unlimited”, and “O JOGO” both in the Amazon Prime Video catalog, and was executive producer on the Franco-Brazilian documentary “Solidarieté” by Sthepanie de Freitas, a original Netflix production.
Brêtas was an associate producer of the thriller "American Thief" by Miguel Silveira, executive producer and co-producer of the feature films "A Flor da Gigoia" by Ivo Scheger, "Mão na Cabeça" by Milton Alencar Junior, of the documentary "Ziraldo - A Work that Asks for Help" by Guga Dannemann and the international co-production "O Ultimo Animal" by award-winning Portuguese director Leonel Vieira, all scheduled for launch in 2021.
